a preparation for gurdjieff 3.0 workshops

sense always: No matter what passes through your mind, give it no attention and come back to your body, to the organic sensation of life in your body, part by part. Sooner or later, all movement in the mind will vanish.

sense always: If and when thought enters, return attention to sensation in the body. Continue like this. Sooner or later, only clear mind and clear seeing remains.

To work within like this does not mean to become an inert stone. It means that your awareness remains free of the flaws of thinking, free of the flaws of judging, free, even, of naming. When mind dissolves into wakefulness, “there shall be” (as Gurdjieff says) “Time no longer more.”

enjoyment arises: This practice is a way to your own essential nature. While practicing — sooner or later — you will have the experience that your innate self-existing wakefulness is free of conceptual attitudes, free of clinging to bliss, clarity, or non-thought. When this occurs you have glimpsed your essence. This is how essence grows. This is continuous education. Wakefulness is delightful glimpse by glimpse.

Be well,
