Christian Alf studied piano and music pedagogic at the Musikhochschule in Köln and then in München, Deutschland, where he received his degree in 1989. He accompanies performers and singers in theaters and cafes, often composing original music for them.

In 1996 he came in touch with Gurdjieff’s Teaching and Music. Since 1998 Christian has been accompanying James Tomarelli’s classes of the Gurdjieff Movements and giving concerts of the Gurdjieff/deHartmann Music.

Christian teaches high school in Münich and is a student of Tai Chi Chuan and Kung Fu.
