Francesco De Angelis was born in Treviso, Italy, in 1977. He has a degree in law and a master degree in environmental law and has been working in the environmental conservation field over the past ten years. He owns and operates Olivetto B&B, welcoming and guiding travelers in Treviso and Venice.

Longtime interested in cognitive and perceptual sciences, he met James Tomarelli and friends in 2005. A Vipassana student and practitioner since 2007, Francesco has begun practicing and researching other attention-body-mind techniques: antiginastica, rolfing, and tai chi.
